What is a limit? This means a factor that restricts the run of a campaign and its plans.

Limit can be:

  • Time period from - to as duration of a campaign
  • Date and time of a plan duration
  • Number of impressions
  • Number of clicks
  • Number of unique users
  • Number of performed actions
    • Plan post-dependency actions
    • Campaign total actions
  • Number of external iBB Ad Server plan displays
  • Number of viewable impressions - it is necessary to activate viewable impression detection in plan otherwise limit will not work properly

There are two types of limits in iBB Ad Server that influence the running of a campaign/plan - limit for the whole campaign and limit for a plan.

Limit for the whole campaign

Limit of the campaign is superior to plan limit, ie all plans will be stopped when the limits are reached (besides external plans)

There are two types of limits for the whole campaign. Both are in the same level, ie the campaign will be stopped when one of the limits is reached.

Plan limit

A plan will be stopped when the limit is reached. There are two plan limits:

Limits affecting the distribution of impressions:

Additional limits:
Both types are on the same level, ie a campaign will be stopped when one of them is reached.
