General Actions:
Primary limit is on the level of a campaign and a plan. A campaign/plan will be stopped when reaching the displaying of the campaign.
Primary limit is often used in connection with plan limit - Limit plan by time and do not schedule impressions.
Primary limit units:
Example: A campaign sold for 1000 clicks over the space of 3 sites; distribution of clicks on the servers is not important for a client. The campaign should last 10 days, cannot be prolonged and the minimum number of days when the campaign should run has not been set.
Setting:
In case you want to reach equal distribution of primary limit units in duration of a campaign/plan, mark checkbox "Continuously optimize to equalize primary limit units". BB AdServer re-counts primary limit units in duration of a campaign/plans
If you want to be sure that the primary limit will be reached, use the possibility of prolongation - mark checkbox "Prolong if the required amount of primary limit units haven't been reached". The campaign is being prolonged until the primary limit will has been reached. The campaign runs until the set limit is reached.
Example: A campaign is old for 550 clicks over the space of 3 sites, redistribution of clicks on the servers is not important for a client. A client needs the campaign to run at least a week and then until the finishing of all clicks.
Primary limit can be combined with secondary limit. Both limits are in the same level, i.e. when reaching at least one of them is reached - the campaign will be stopped.
E.g. A campaign is sold for 5 000 clicks but no more than 800 000 impressions. The campaign should last 60 days.
