Secondary limit is on the level of a campaign and a plan. When the secondary limit is reached - a campaign/plan is stopped.
Secondary limit can be combined with primary limit. Both limits are on the same level, i.e. when at least one of them is reached - the campaign/plan is stopped

Units of secondary limit:

E.g. A campaign is sold for 5 000 clicks but no more than 800 000 impressions

Setting:

  • Time period of a campaign - 60 days
  • Limit in plans - "limit plan by time and do not schedule impressions"
  • Limit of a campaign - "Primary limit - Clicks", 5 000 units
  • Limit of a campaign - "Continuously optimize to equalize primary limit units" - this function ensures the steady running of a campaign  ifor 60 days
  • Limit of a campaign - "Secondary limit" - Limit type "Impressions", 800 000 units
