iBB Ad Server has an extensive system of user rights which allows definition for any type of user or for any individual user what part of the system the user can see, and what type of activities a user can do.

The rights are divided according to several criteria:

Rights according to functionality:

Right to preview ikonalupa.png

This right determines which part of the system the user sees, e.g. item "administration", site statistics...

Right to edit ikonatuzka.gif

This right allows adjustment in the settings of the system object, e.g. change the settings of campaigns, default banners  ...

Rights to create new objects ikonazeleneplus.gif

This rights allows the creation of a new object, e.g. create a new campaign, create a new site or new user...

Rights according to scope:

Global rights

These rights are at the highest level in the system. Global rights determine which part of the system will be available for the user and how he can work with them. These rights are for the basic part of iBB Ad Server - Sites, Campaigns, Channels, Statistics, Sales, Administration (items from the left menu of the desktop)

For more information about global rights and their settings see the page on Global rights.

Local rights

These "detailed" rights apply to a specific system object or activity, e.g. campaign's start, the possibility of creating an invoice... Local rights are subordinated to the global rights.
For more information about local rights and their settings see the page on Local rights.

Preset rights

Preset rights determine what rights a new user has. Preset rights are a template for the global and local rights of user type. Preset rights should be defined at the beginning of your work with iBB Ad Server.
For more information about preset rights and their settings see the page on Preset rights.

Rights can be changed at any time, but you cannot assign another user more rights than you have.
