Tracing Cookie

Tracing Cookie is a special type of cookie that collects information on what campaigns, plans, banners the user saw or what sites the user visited.

This information can be used in a campaign´s setting see Retargeting.

Tracing Cookie Specification:

• The tracing cookie should be active from the beginning of campaigns which we refer to
• Time limitation of Tracing Cookie - when a campaign is finished: targeting is possible for maximum 90 days (the campaign had the function "Tracing Cookie" active). 
• It is cookie type, therefore we recommend to turning on  technological cookie targeting in a plan

How to activate Tracing Cookie in a campaign:

1. Open a page with a campaign where you want to activate the function Campaign -> Edit -> Edit
   Or create a new campaign (follow steps until no.5).
2. Mark checkbow on the line "Tracing cookie - Set a cookie which will remember the campaign plan and banner seen by the user".
3. Save the setting

iBB Ad Server starts marking users who saw the campaign.
