Plan Targeting - Technology

This page contains several individual targeting to technology:

Screen resolution

A campaign plan can be targeted to users with a certain screen resolution.

How to - show a plan to a user with a certain screen resolution:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Insert required width range of a screen in pixels
   Field "from" has to be set at least "1" or more. Field "to" set as required.
4. Insert required height range of a screen in pixels
   Field "from" has to be set at least "1" or more. Field "to" set as required.
5. Save the setting

For proper functioning is necessary to set a range from "1" to "...." (required number). If there is "0" used in one of the field -- no plan will be displayed.

If you delete values of screen resolution and save the setting, the targeting will be canceled.

If you need to target  only on one value ( e.g.width), then set in height from 1 to 50 000 ( maximum).Otherwise system will automatically insert from 0 to 0 and no plan will be displayed. Use the same settings in opposite case.

Browsers with active cookies

A campaign plan can be targeted to users who have cookies accepted in their computers. 

This targeting can be used in case of presence of functions working with cookies (Frequency, Retargeting).

How to - show a plan to a user with active cookies:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Mark the checkbox in "Clients with cookies enabled only"
4. Save the setting

If you unmark the checkbox and save the setting,  the targeting will be canceled.

Connection type

A campaign plan can be targeted to users who have a certain connection type to the internet.

How to - show a plan to a user with a certain type of connection type:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Mark (by Ctrl) "Connection type" to which you want to target
4. Save the setting

How to cancel the connection type targeting:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Unmark (by Ctrl) "Connection type" to which you do not want to target. If you want to turn off the targeting, unmark all connection types
4. Save the setting

Mobile devices

This targeting is available only if using mobile plans.

Device types

There is a possibility to choose a device type where the banner will be displayed on.

How to - show a plan to a users with certain type of mobile devices:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Mark (by Ctrl) "device types" to which you want to target
4. Save the setting

How to cancel the device types targeting:

1. Open a page with the selected campaign / plan
2. Click on the link "Technology" in the plan
3. Unmark (by Ctrl) "device types" to which you do not want to target. If you want to turn off the targeting, unmark all device types.
