The priority of the campaign plan determines whether the plan will be preferred/not prefered to the other running plans.

The basic priority setting of the plan is 0, but you can set it a range from -5 (lowest priority) to 10 (highest priority). In normal circumstances, all plans should have the same priority. But you also can give priority to one plan over other.

Priorities of plans are used according to the type of a campaign's sale. E.g. paid campaigns can have priority 0, an unpaid campaigns can have the priority -1, and campaigns with technological targeting can have priority 1 (technological targeting reduces the available space fo ads.You can give higher preference to a plan by priority increasing)

In case of exclusive sales, the high priority of plan can provide permanent display of an ad on the page.

E.g. The campaign will be displayed on ad position for whole week without any limit. No other campaign will be on this position.

Setting:

How to set priority for the plan:

  1. Open the chosen campaign
  2. Click on the plan name where you want to change priority
  3. Choose priority value from drop-down menu
  4. Save the setting

The priority of a plan relates to the possibility of setting the size of the ad space for the plan, which determines hwhat percentage of ad space the plan can use.
