How to Make a Campaign Available to the User

A newly created campaign can be seen only by the administrator who created it. If more people should work with the site, it is necessary to make it available.

There are several ways to make sites available to users:

Access from page "Administration of campaign users"

Follow these steps to make more channels available at once.

  1. Open the page of the campaign you want to makeavailable Campaign -> Edit
  2. Open administration of capaign users Campaign users -> Detailed Users rights
  3. Using filter find the user who should have access 
  4. Click on a red smiley next to the name of the user. If there is a smiley of another colour, the user already has the access

Follow these steps to make more channels available at once.

  1. Open the page with list of users Administration -> Users
  2. Using filter find the user who should have access
  3. Click on link "Campaign" in the line of the user
  4. Using filter find the campaign that you want to make available
  5. Click on a red smiley next to the name of the user. If there is a smiley of another colour, the user already has the access.

Specific campaign users

User types: advertiser or campaign provider (agency). These type of users are used for invoicing or in reports.

Advertiser - this is a specific advertiser of campaigns, e.g. VolksWagen Group. Advertiser has to be defined in following cases:

Brand - this user is a representative of the advertiser´s brand in the campaign, for example Skoda Auto
Advertising agency - the user corresponding to the agency that ordered the campaign
or
Media agency - the user corresponding to media agency that ordered the campaign

How to set specific campaign users:

  1. Choose the user from drop down menu
     If you cannot see required user, you have to define this user.
     Quick selection - speed up your search in drop down menu by entering the first letters of the name
  2. Continue as long as you choose all required users
  3. Save the settings

Direct partner  - settings for this user are used for invoicing (i.e. agency commission), for more info see Sales info

Presets for campaign special users:

Presets allows to create a draft for specific campaign users, it means that the nex time you would be able to choose a client name from the list "Selected preset"

  1. Set specific campaign users (see description above)
  2. Fill the name in part "Special users presets - Insert as a new preset". We recommend using the name of client/brand 
  3. Confirm setting by clicking on "Insert"

Campaign company users

Business users are tied to the business side of the campaign, e.g. Businessman appears when exporting media plan, user type Billing appears on the invoice or business reports

Company users are connected to sales part of the campaign, e.g. user type Businessman is used for mediaplan export, user type Invoice clerk is in the invoice or in sales reports. 

How to set campaign company users:

  1. Choose the user from drop down menu
     If you cannot see required user, you have to define this user.
     Quick selection - speed up your search in drop down menu by entering the first letters of the name
  2. Continue until you set required users
  3. Save the settings

Company users preset:

Presets allows create a draft for campaign company users, it means that the nex time you would be able to choose client name from the list "Selected preset"

  1. Set campaign company user (see description above)
  2. Fill the name in the part "Company users presets - Insert as a new preset". We recommend using the name of sales account/invoice clerk for overview of how many campaigns are from the sales account.
  3. Confirm by clicking on "Insert"
