Set Passback from AdServer

What is passback?

Important information about Passback in AdServer:

• Every passback execution is counted in online statistics of AdServer
• Statistics of Site´s Reporting Portal contains data without passback calls
• AdServer counts all campaign´s impressions that are connected with passback (data is counted in online statistics as well as in Reporting Portal)
• AdServer selects plan / banner from the beginning when call is returned (passback) i.e. as passback wasn´t executed.
• Passback code may be used in more campaigns/plans. Passback contains protection against looping of already used plans
• Passback calling does not support one2many function (competitors, surround etc.)

Setting:Usage of Passback function constists of two parts:

• setting in iBB AdServer, i.e. in a campaign where displaying codes of external system are inserted
• passback code insertion in external system (in case of any uncertainty of the setting, contact the support department of the external system) 

1. create a campaign/plan in iBB AdServer according to an order of the external system
2. create a banner where you may insert displaying code of the external system
3. Insert part of the passback code marked as PassbackBanner to JS version of the code - place it IN FRONT OF the external system code (codes are sent by the Support team on your request)
   In the part of PasssbackBanner code: partner: 'PARTNER_NAME', change the text PARTNER_NAME according your partner, fe. externalsystem1
   change this name in each campaign, it has to be different for each campiagn becuase of looping
4. activate all banners in the selected campaign´s plan
5. insert the code PassbackExternalSystem into the external system (in case of any uncertainty of the setting, contact the support department of the external system) 
6. after you receive confirmation that the passback code was inserted into the external system, activate plans/campaign in iBB AdServer according to client´s order
   From now on, unused calls will be returned by the external system to iBB AdServer
